MAINE FLOW Bench
Acoustic treatment remains one of the most effective ways of reducing noise emissions in many applications, including aircraft engines, ventilation systems and automotive systems. In all these applications, the effectiveness of the acoustic treatment is influenced by airflow. It is still difficult to predict the acoustic effects of a coating in the presence of high noise levels and flows.
On behalf of Le Mans University, the CTTM has designed and developed the multimodal aeroacoustic test bench called MAINE FLOW. It enables us to provide qualification services for aeronautical manufacturers on the interactions between acoustic materials and flows.
